The company was established on the 18 October 1959 by Mr. Kostas Kaniklides.Mr. Kaniklides started out with a small bookshop in Nicosia opposite Pancyprian Gymnasium specialising in books and stationery. In the next years the company  grew and expanded in other sectors such as paper and envelopes.

Throughout the years the company continue to expand and house a number of well-known brands. In 2000 the company was renamed S.Kaniklides(Cyprus)Limited and today covers the whole island with quality products managing to become one of the market leaders.
